Indian Ethnic Brands To Look Out For - Part 1

Hi Guys, I hope you all are doing great. Last month in his address to the nation, PM Modi said that we should be 'local about vocal'. He said to not only purchase local products but to promote them globally and I couldn't agree more with this. Even though I love shopping from a lot of international brands, there is something about Indian brands that I can't ignore. I feel a lot of Indian brands are doing a great job when it comes to clothing, makeup, skincare, etc. We all should appreciate these Indian brands for giving a tough competition to the international brands by constantly trying to launch new products with excellent quality.

In this series called “Vocal For Local”, I will try to shed light on local/Indian brands which you can shop from. I will try to incorporate as many local brands as I can and I will divide these posts according to various categories. The first category I want to talk about is Ethnic Wear. Now there are a lot of good local and Indian brands that have a great collection when it comes to ethnic so I am dividing this post into two parts. The first part will try to focus on the lesser-known brands that deserve all the love and attention. Let’s get started.

AKS

The first brand will talk about is AKS. AKS has the most beautiful range of ethnic wear and you can find your style easily. I would recommend you to look for their Kurtas and Ethnic dresses collection as they are gorgeous. The collection is very affordable and you can always get a good discount. The quality of their clothing is great and the fit is perfect. You can shop for their collection here.

Libas

Another lesser know brand which has such great stuff. Libas has some really good collection of Kurtas, Kurta Sets, and Ethnic Dresses. It is affordable and is available at a great discount so you get a good deal. They have some well-printed Kurtis in their collection and the quality and fit are amazing. You can shop for their collection here.

Jaipur Kurti

Looking for some good Kurta-Patiala or Kurta-Palazzo set for your office wear, check out Jaipur Kurti. They have got the best collection of Jaipuri kurta sets at a good price point and they are at a good discount most of the time. My mother loves Jaipur Kurti when it comes to kurta sets so we have mother's approval here. They also have a good collection of Palazzos and Skirts so you can check that out too. You can shop for their collection here.

Vishudh

If you are looking for well-printed kurta and palazzos sets in an affordable range check out Vishudh on Myntra. They have a pretty good collection and the quality is best at such a low cost. Also, they have a very beautiful collection of ethnic dresses. I feel AKS, Libas, and Vishudh fall in the same range when it comes to creating good quality ethnic wear at an affordable range. You can shop for their collection here.

Sangria

One of my most favorite brand from the house of Jabong/Myntra. I have always loved wearing Sangria's Kurtis. You can get anything from an office wear simple kurta to a party wear dress in their collection. They have also a good range of tunics and bottoms with different prints and patterns. Sangria Kurtas have a good fit and the quality is top-notch. Try to shop for them when on a discount as you get an amazing deal. You can shop for their collection here.

Anouk

Myntra’s in-house brand Anouk is doing great when it comes to ethnic wear. Anouk has a wide range of Kurtis and kurta sets with beautiful prints and colors. You can also check out there dresses if you are looking for one. There are available at a good price point and no doubt the quality is great along with the fit. Check them out if you are looking for some good ethnic wear at an affordable range. You can shop for their collection here.

Karigari

A simple brand with a very simple and sober range of ethnic wear. Karigari is one brand where you can find simple and elegant kurtas at a very low cost. They have a very gorgeous color range and the fit is perfect. Quality is pretty good considering the price point. If you are looking for simple and sober Kurtis for your office wear do check Karigari out. You can shop for their collection here.

So, these are all the Indian brands you can look out for if you want to shop for some good ethnic wear. Do check them out and let me know any more Indian brands you love shopping ethnic wear from. There will be a part 2 for this post where I will try to cover more Indian Brands which have a nice range of collection but at are a bit at the pricier side.
