Indian Ethnic Brands To Look Out For - Part 1

Hi Guys, I hope you all are doing great. Last month in his address to the nation, PM Modi said that we should be 'local about vocal'. He said to not only purchase local products but to promote them globally and I couldn't agree more with this. Even though I love shopping from a lot of international brands, there is something about Indian brands that I can't ignore. I feel a lot of Indian brands are doing a great job when it comes to clothing, makeup, skincare, etc. We all should appreciate these Indian brands for giving a tough competition to the international brands by constantly trying to launch new products with excellent quality.

In this series called “Vocal For Local”, I will try to shed light on local/Indian brands which you can shop from. I will try to incorporate as many local brands as I can and I will divide these posts according to various categories. The first category I want to talk about is Ethnic Wear. Now there are a lot of good local and Indian brands that have a great collection when it comes to ethnic so I am dividing this post into two parts. The first part will try to focus on the lesser-known brands that deserve all the love and attention. Let’s get started.

AKS

The first brand will talk about is AKS. AKS has the most beautiful range of ethnic wear and you can find your style easily. I would recommend you to look for their Kurtas and Ethnic dresses collection as they are gorgeous. The collection is very affordable and you can always get a good discount.               One of my most favorite brand from the house of Jabong/Myntra. I have always loved wearing Sangria's Kurtis. You can get anything from an office wear simple kurta to a party wear dress in their collection. They have also a good range of tunics and bottoms with different prints and patterns.               Myntra’s in-house brand Anouk is doing great when it comes to ethnic wear. Anouk has a wide range of Kurtis and kurta sets with beautiful prints and colors. A simple brand with a very simple and sober range of ethnic wear. Karigari is one brand where you can find simple and elegant kurtas at a very low cost. They have a very gorgeous color range and the fit is perfect. Quality is pretty good considering the price point.
